I'm playing around with my blog design today. I've already cleaned up some categories and added an "About Me" page.
On the writing front, I've submitted some queries to agents. I'm stressing about my synopsis.
I've put my sequel to the side for now, and I'm writing a novel of a different genre. It's giving me a well needed fantasy break, and if my first novel doesn't sell by the time I finish it, I'll be able to query two markets at the same time. It's a little bit harder to write the new novel, though, because it's based in reality. I don't have as much room to play.
If anyone out there has recommendations for urban fantasy agents (I just read the genre is dying in an industry blog- fun!) let me know. I need all the help I can get.

Your blog looks great!
Have you done a Google search for the agents that represent your genre? I googled agents that represent short stories and had some good luck. It is important to query with material that they are looking for. Otherwise a big old waste of time.

Thanks! And, I have done searches for some agents. So far, I've queried a few, and I'm writing my synopsis so I can query a few more. I'm also going to be querying an agent assistant who is looking for fantasy stories and is going to be giving query feedback next week.
